HTC M8 (Sprint) unlocked TWRP installed but not rooted. I don't know what I'm doing here.
Rukbat offered some advice, but I need some help still as I don't know where to go from here. I thought I was rooting my phone but only ended up unlocked with TWRP installed. I have now backed up my phone per Rukbat's suggestion, but don't know what to do from here.
I think it's best not to venture further into areas I know nothing about, so if someone could help me to undo what's been done so far, I would greatly appreciate it.
The OTA Marshmallow update is now available for my phone but I cannot install it because of the changes I have made. Rukbat suggested to install the original Lollipop ROM so I can download the new updated OS, but I can't even figure out how to do that.
Another thought which will probably demonstrate my complete lack of knowledge on the matter....Will I be able to install a ROM if I am not currently ROOTED?
