HTC M9 Battery Replaced / Now SIM card not recognized

I have a 2 year old HTC M9 and we replaced the battery tonight. Got it all put back together, works like a charm. Only problem is the SIM card isn't being recognized. We took the SIM card out, and put it in our iPad, and it's fine. Put it back in the phone ... nothing. Does anyone have any suggestions for this?

Welcome to Android Central! You did the battery replacement yourself, correct? I'd suspect that in the process, you either didn't reattach the flex cable correctly, or something with the flex cable, its connection, or the daughterboard itself got damaged.
