HTC Mail Widget Problem

I found that if you open an email from the HTC Mail widget, click reply in the widget, type a message, hit back to clear the keyboard, then hit send, the screen will say "sending," but then switch to "saving." This also happens if you hit back to clear the keyboard, then menu, and send. This doesn't happen every time, but it will happen several times in a row then it will stop as quickly as it started.

I've seen this on a Gmail account setup as IMAP and a work Exchange account.

I know some of you won't be able to replicate this and will say I'm crazy, but I've seen it on multiple occasions across two different accounts. It comes an goes in waves though.
