I chose to get the D2G, I do prefer HTC hardware, but the on/off rumored announcements and dates kept coming and going and I finally had to draw a line in the sand. I chose it and will root it and move forward. Life isn't perfect and neither is any mobile phone.

Is this a Verizon or HTC failure? This phone will soon be old news.
The 800mhz processor is faster then the 1ghz processor in the Incredible. It is a second generation snapdragon so it is more efficient per clock and uses less energy.unless the up the specs! maybe 1ghz instead of 800mhz and a 8mp cam instead of 5mp! maybe a 3.9" screen oooo

Image quality is also based on pixel density in the sensor, not just the amount of pixels. More pixels = more density = worse quality (for a given size sensor). So more mp does not necessarily constitute a better image.
I think the specs of this phone are just fine and wont be outdated anytime soon.
