HTC One 2 aka HTC M8 rumor round-up: camera, specs, release date and design

Give me a removable battery or sd card slot and I'm yours

Both Sony and LG were able to fit bigger batteries in their similar sized phones because they were sealed in over the removable ones found on the S5. I would much rather have a larger built in battery than a smaller removable one. Of course, if they were the same size than the removable wins.

Nothing beats a removable battery I'm sorry...especially on vacations I just wish companies put in longer lasting battery

Really looking forward to this. Personally I'd love on screen buttons

I'm still not sold on the 'leaks' out from @evleaks. Just take a look at what he posted about the GS4 before its release (hint: it looked absolutely nothing like the actual phone)

I would be happy with it if it turns out as leaked; however, I wouldn't rule out the fact that it could look nothing like that.

A metal version of the Desire 816 with high end specs and a 5-5.2" display would be nice.

Any Word on Qi Charging? Love this feature on my DNA. Also, wondering about Verizon Wireless availability

Oh boy... if this release is going to be like Verizon's launch of the HTC One last year... I don't even know. I hope for HTC's sake that they are able to release on all four carriers at more-or-less the same time.

Last year was just painful... and the delayed release is the reason I didn't buy it. Though, I'm still looking for a good deal on a used one =D

If any of these leaked photo's were legit , wouldnt the beats audio logo be seen on the back as with the original one ? Agree with everyone about the bezel but i cant see them geting rid of it , At best they might do what they did with the desire 700 which is to move the logo to the bezel at the top of the phone as seen here ... http://images.fonearena.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/HTC-Desire-700-Dual-SIM1.jpg

The Beats logo won't be there since HTC doesn't use their equalizing software anymore. They have their own now. The HTC Max doesn't have it either.

New leaked render falls in line with previous leaks this time with AT&T branding

Looks like we're seeing the final design here folks.

I have no doubt that this is going to be a great phone but for me its a design let down. I'm always excited when Htc launches new phone's but this time not so much

I actually like the looks of this One better than the last One(see what I did there?) it appears that the chamfeured edges are gone, which means less nicks, and the power is in a much better place on the right side. Now about those bezels...

See i was one of the few that liked the power button location and how the buttons were near flush. When i had (still have) my Evo Lte i thought i was really gonna miss the dedicated camera button but when the One came out i realized how much i liked being able to hold my phone and not accidentally push buttons. That and the fact that the power doubled as an IR... I know i was among the few that liked the placement. And yes the bezel lol

HTC’s M8 aka All New One photos leak again | Latest Tech News, Video & Photo Reviews at BGR India
With more than three weeks to go until HTC unveils the HTC M8, expected to be called The All New One, more blurry images showing the silver version of the handset have been published online, this time by a HardForum user who had a chance to actually use a test device a friend of his had on hand.

“Played with one today. Omg. My friend has an evaluation model from HTC. I played with it quite a bit today. Software was still really buggy, Zoe didn’t work, keyboard autocorrect didn’t work and few other streams FC’d like Youtube and stuff but omfg this phone is fast,” a user who goes by the name Ron FTL said. “Faster than my Google Edition S4. Front camera is incredible. 4-megapixel front-facing camera. Was really crisp. Didn’t get a chance to try out the dual rear camera but it was amazing. Thinner than the 2013 One and taller. I’m going to try and play with it a bit more, but I’m already sold on it.”

Looks just like the original HTC One of you ask me. Just in a different color, but I love the design of the original HTC One anyway so.. No harm done lol. :-)
