The usual physical button combinations don't work.

I thought a long-press on the capacitive Menu button may have done it - it doesnt.

There's no "screenshot" option in the system toggles, swiping down past the notification bar.

There is literally no way to take a screenshot. It's driving me crazy!

Yes, I've tried pressing the physical power and home buttons together. Yes, I've tried pressing the physical volume down rocker and power buttons together.

It's so annoying!!!

It can be tricky sometimes--are you sure you're pressing Power and Home at exactly the same time, holding them down for about half a second or so?

It doesn't work!! Driving me crazy too. I have had every HTC One since the very first one, and you always hold the power button down and hit the home screen. According to everything I've read for the A9 it's power and volume down. Nothing works. Have you had any luck since November?

Hi!!!

I just transitioned from 'old' HTCs to the A9 also and have been going completely crazy not being able to take screenshots!

Holding volume down and the power button at the same time with a distinct 'click' worked!!

good luck!
