My silver one shipped early this morning from Indiana. ETA is this Friday to California. Order was shipped via FedEx.

Just got my tracking info now....I Pre-ordered Oct 21, Was checking this forum less than 10 mins ago and realized some people that ordered after me got tracking info already. I was pissed and immediately called HTC customer support, I told them i pre-ordered before my friends did and they already getting tracking info. She checked for me and said she will update my account and will email me when It has been shipped. Guess what? I check immediately I hang up and the tracking info is there. Has already been shipped 10:am today.

Just call them they will update the shipping info. This is what I think, some phones have been shipped but they didn't email or update the order with tracking info. Good thing I didn't wait a minute to speak to someone, it was really fast..im getting it 11/12

Just got my delivery confirmation for tomorrow afternoon. Of course, I am leaving for a conference tomorrow morning. I wonder if I can have it rerouted to the hotel?

I went with the AT&T carrier variant, so it came from them. Carbon Gray, and I'm in North Carolina. Doesn't hurt that AT&T bumped my shipping to next day due to an address issue they had on their end.

I called Fed Ex and they are going to hold it at the station when it gets here this evening so I will get it tonight or tomorrow before I leave, which is great so I can play around with it while my wife is in her meetings instead of having to wait until next week. :)

Thanks Roosterman. Ordered the Gold one with an estimate of 50$ tax . Now I should start counting days until 'late november' as per HTC.. I hope its 3rd or early 4th week.. Fingers crossed.. 😬

First, I was charged tax on mine, though I don't live in TX. My guess is tax is charged for all states.

As far as color, it depends on how quickly you want to get it. I've ordered the red and won't be shipped till early December. Maybe give them a call to find out which colors are in stock for shipping.

Today i Received my phone.

No head phones in box. When i contact HTC sales they said no headset for phones that are purchased from htc.com
Screen brightness & colors not satisfied comapred to Nexus 5x.
No google play music as i pre Ordered it on Day 1.

I am trying to take shots from A9 and 5X and compare.
I love Pro future in camera really nice.

Will update more infomation soon.

Cancelled my deep garnet order on Monday. Ordered carbon gray yesterday. Order status today on HTC website is "boxed shipment". Whatever that means. FedEx, however, says they have a package for me from brightpoint north america scheduled for Friday delivery.

Got my carbon grey today...not impressed. Compared to my M8 it feels cheap, not only is it extremely slippery and difficult to hold, I don't think it is as good a value as a new M8 that you can now get on eBay for about $300.

It is going back or for sale on eBay so that maybe I might make a slight profit.

No head phones has really got me rethinking this now, if I didn't really need a new phone I think id pass on my order. Now I need to buy head phones so another $100 for a good pair...Cant find a single review of htc pro studio models so dont even want to give htc any more money even with 25% off.

Got mine and agree that the battery is draining too quickly. I'm not a heavy user and have most syncing turned off. Compared to my M7 it looks out of proportion, i.e. too long with far too big bezels. The top bezel on my M7 is much smaller and yet has boom sound speakers. The bottom bezel of the A9 is just huge and a big waste of space. If HTC insisted on having a fingerprint button they could have put their logo on the button and shortened the phone and bottom bezel. As for AMOLED, I can't tell the screen is AMOLED and it looks no better than my M7. Nowhere near as sharp, crisp and bright as the Samsung AMOLED phones. I'll make a bold prediction right now that HTC gets a whole lot of these phones back.

Jon, are you using GSam Battery Monitor or some other app to see what is using the battery? I had an issue awhile back and it turned out to be Google now using location services. I'd take my N5 of charge at 6:00 AM and by 4:00 PM, the battery was down to less then 10%.

I'm on day 3 with mine now. Battery, I admit, I'm killing it due to playing with it and learning the phone. But I'm just coming from WP, so I have a bit to learn. But honestly, the size of the phone feels right to me, the screen looks great. Chalk it up to personal preferences.
