Has anyone noticed their battery skipping percents after the Android 4.3 update?

When my battery is fully charged it goes from 100% to 98% just from texting, but then it will go down percent by percent after 98. Still holds a charge as it did before the update, but I'm stumped as to why it skips 99%?

Welcome to Android Central! It may just be that the polling interval for the battery stat is twice as slow as before, or that you happen to be doing things that are making the battery run down a little faster (which often happens just after a major update, since you may be updating a lot of apps, or trying out new features).

ignorance is bliss.

just turn the percentage off and you'll no longer have to concern yourself with it.

i don't know if i have the same issue, but that is what i did! the less information you have on your phone's inner workings, the less likely you are of getting obsessed with pointless data which distract you from what is really important: is the battery life of your phone satisfactory to you / as you expect it it to be?

When your phone refreshes, it updates the battery percentage. That's why it can drop 2, 3, percent I a blink of the eye. My Samsung S4 did this as well. I had read that (not sure if true) Motorola is the only maker that has this as my Moto X drops by 1% at a time....

I've noticed that the battery (while charging) jumps from 96% to 100% sometimes...
