My HTC One was sitting in the box and I was using the Galaxy S4 because I needed 4.2.2 and a better camera. Brought the HTC One back to life with the release of the Android Revolution ROM running JB 4.2.2 and amazed out how well it takes pictures in low light!

And just for fun, I took a similar shot with the Galaxy S4 with the same lighting conditions... OUCH!

Not to put down the S4 in any way, because it takes EXCELLENT photos with the right lighting conditions but if you compare the two phones in low light situations, they are worlds apart.

Great photos, but the third one looks a little bit overexposed. Do you always use auto settings? Sometimes setting exposure to "-1" can make photos look better in such conditions...

Default except sharpness on -1. I probably could have tried harder but I plan on learning Light Room with photos like that so until I get more acquainted with what can and can't be done with pointing and shooting I try not to fiddle too much. Thanks for the tip though. I'll keep that in mind.

Don't tell me you live on this island and don't visit it. Have you seen the new (new to me since it's been eleven years I was here last) visitor center? It's pretty nice with a well done movie. I just love the fern trees.

I live in Puerto Rico and I haven't visited El Yunque in almost a decade. So no, haven't seen the new visitor's center.

Hope to visit it again soon.
