HTC One compresses my video when I send through WhatsApp...can I customise the compression?

While sharing videos through whatsapp, HTC one compresses all my HD videos to a very low compression rate to an extent where the video is not clear. Is there any way I can customise this feature to set a higher compression rate?

It has a 16mb limit. Try something else to share large files. Dropbox is great for that. Once you upload the file you can send a link for the download.

Google Drive is also a good alternative, but there is no way around the size limit.
