HTC one m7 USB error

[AC Question]

I cannot transfer files from my HTC one M7 to a PC or vice versa via USB cable.Always gives an error,"USB device not recognised" It was not the case before,only began aftermy PC had a blue screen(BSoD) while a file transfer to the phone was ongoing.
Any solution for this??

Welcome to Android Central! Try reinstalling the USB driver. There's a link here, but I haven't vetted the source, so if you download it, make sure you scan it on your computer with a good antivirus program. Download HTC ONE M7 Drivers for Windows (USB + ADB)

Hello. It seems like you don't have drivers installed. Download HTC Sync if you need drivers. It comes with the most up to date version.
