HTC One M8, any issues with it before I buy?

Do you know the details regarding the apparent network vs extreme power saving mode conflict, why Verizon isn't sharing that information with users, or why there are apparently no plans to enable extreme power saving for VzW m8 phones even though all of VzW's competitors have it enabled on their m8s?

From what I've read it's integrated, however I find it hard to believe personally. Again Samsung has Ultra Power Saving and my M8 couldn't get over the 24h hump.

Meanwhile I did 40h on my G2 already!

My iPad mini retina lags scrolling and opening apps more than m8. That should tell you something. Camera is great for day to day use. The HTC m8 feels like an actual phone. Not some cheap plastic phone.

I returned a G3 due to signal problems mainly but also I didn't enjoy its lagging interface. Changed to a one m8 and I love it. Overall a better experience than my old nexus 5. Defo the best phone around at this tine in my opinion
