HTC One (M8): Case or naked

Does it raise the screen a lot? And is it noticeable or weird feeling? I've never tried a tempered glass protector. Also, are they usable with cases?

How is touch sensitivity?

I have the Zagg glass one too. This is my first glass screen protector and I am in love with it. I was first surprised that it is actually flexible.

It doesn't raise the screen too much at all, I was also worried about this. It is very thin and you can't even tell it's there unless you run your finger across the speaker grille, you can feel a slight raise in height. Very minimal.

It feels way better than any plastic protector and there is absolutely no loss in touch sensitivity. I will never buy a plastic one again. Totally worth it, I would recommend it to anyone

who doesnt like things nakey!!!!!!!!

its fine by itself...but there are cases out there that dont bulk it up, like people have mentioned before, but i like the otterbox commuter case alot and the otterbox Symmetry case which is new looks kinda goodie!!!!......i have the DOT VIEW case...its kind of annoying at times.

the symmetry case is new and looks like it would fit my needs, i dont own it yet but when i do i will let anyone know how it is.

I just ordered the SUP case for the m8 on Amazon for like 5 bucks it retails for $35 it covers the full phone reminds me of the Speck case I used to have I'm worried about protecting the cameras and the screen from cracking that's it

The case is lovely, but as one reviewer said, the all-metal case makes the phone slippery, so for the time-being, I'm not going commando. I bought a $12 case at Amazon. It has a holster cover, so I can slip it on my belt when I go for walks. This is my first HTC phone and my first flagship phone, so until I get used to it, I don't want to risk dropping it. Besides, I pride myself in keeping my phones in pristine condition.

I got the shell holster combo from the Verizon store just to give the phone a little grip. I've taken it off and put it back on several times. Every time its on I think about how much nicer it looks with it off and then when its off I think about how slippery it is and put it on. A

I know the build quality on this phone is good. Anyone think taking a hard shell case off and putting it on a bunch can just the phone?

Hate hate hate cases. I'm constantly looking for one that makes the phone feel like it's not in a case. I usually use Insipio Feather just because they are nice and thin, but I just ordered the BestSkinEver matte finish for it. As soon as that comes in, I'll be caseless and probably a lot happier.

I totally agree. I bought a Skinomi full body skin. Honestly I would recommend using the back piece, and then go get a glass screen protector for the front. Waaaay better than plastic ones. Just my 2 cents

Yup. Just don't drop it and you'll be fine. Or, if you pay for the insurance, don't worry. Drop it. You'll be fine.

I've dropped mine several times, not a single issue. I don't drop it onto pavement or concrete though, only on a carpeted floor

I like a thin shell case in my phones to provide extra grip and to prevent unwanted screen presses when holding it. On this I went with a clear TPU case to not hide any of the metallic goodness.

I put on a glass Zagg screen protector, and have ordered a feather case from Incipio, as well as a slim armor case from Spigen. Most of the time I use my phone with no case, but it's nice to have the added protection for when I'm at the gym or working around the house. I HIGHLY recommend the glass screen protector that Zagg makes. It was a breeze to install, and I can barely notice that it is even there.

Everyone check out Ghost Armor. Most amazing product ever. I never put a case on any phone I've had in the last 6 years, but I always have ghost armor. It's invisible so I always retain the beauty of the phone I'm using. The matte finish is the best (but for the back of the phone, NOT the screen). I have a ghost armor kiosk at my mall so they install it for me perfectly.
