HTC One m8 Chromecast Issue

It seems that my phone loses connection to my chromecast constantly. Only way to fix is it to turn off the wifi on my phone and switch it back on. I don't have this issue with my Nexus 5 or my Nexus 7. Has anyone else been having this problem or know of a solution?

I have a Verizon M8 that is rooted and running CleanROM and I don't have any problems using Chromecast.

Im streaming HBO Go as i post this, Never had a problem with my M8

In power settings, make sure sleep mode is off. I sometimes get a 'device lost' message when I wake my phone up but it reconnects in under 30 seconds.
