HTC One (M8) Colors: which one do you prefer?

I've got the grey.
I loved the brushed look of the phone... then covered it with a case hehe

They may not have produced it because the finish would likely not be as durable as the grey. ...just like the iPhone.

They could always anodize the aluminum to black but I think people are bored with black phones and HTC is trying for a fresh look here. For me, brushing the metal was a huge plus. You just don't see texture like that in plastics.

Picking up Gun Metal.

Gold is played out, I wish they didn't go there.

I would've love to see them launch with Blue and/or Red like the M7.

Only Verizon has the Glacier Silver so far does anyone know if Sprint is getting it? I wish red was out already but between Gunmetal and Gold I think I like Gold. Sunday I'll see both side by side when my husband chooses which one. I saw one then the other at a different store not side by side and gunmetal wasn't as bad as I thought it would be but it is dark in front where the speakers are which made my husband really want silver but he may do gold too not sure. Wish they would get them before the 6th though.I can't wait that long.

I have the EVO LTE and the black coating on the aluminum is very durable. Still looks new on mine but I've mostly had a case on it. They did something else when they made the red ones as those didn't hold up.

The problem I had with the silver M7 was that the white plastic on the phone picked up the blue from the jean pocket I put it in. The blue bled into the plastic. I don't think I'll have that problem with the gunmetal gray. I love the look and feel of this device.

That was exactly the kind of reason I didn't want the white HTC One. I hated that plastic strip circumnavigating the phone.

Gunmetal Grey here ! I like the Silver but that would've looked too much like my M7. The Gunmetal does ooze quality and looks great IMHO.

It looks like they clear-coated it, so you're probably safe with that one. In fact, you may even be able to buff out small scratches.

What you guys said about the Blue and Red makes me feel better about buying now and not waiting for special colors to come out.

The Amber Gold is so nice. It seemed feminine the first time I used it, but it has since grown on me. Sadly with the account I have, I have to order direct from AT&T. So I'll probably get the Gunmetal Grey. I haven't seen the Silver in person yet, so who know how I'll feel about it.
