What is messed up on the GPS on your Sprint M8?

GPS works only sometimes. If I reboot (which is annoying to have to do when you're driving!), then it comes back. I'm not using wi-fi calling, it's turned off. GPS Essentials shows something like 24 (GPS satellites) visible, 8 used in fix, no fix. The disturbing thing is the "no fix", even though it shows some number of satellites used in the fix. I can leave it my phone trying to get a fix, but it won't get one unless I reboot.

Wow, am I glad to hear that I am not the only one who is having this problem.

As everyone else has mentioned, I started noticing the problem after the WiFi Calling software arrived.

As others have said, the only thing I have found works is to reboot the phone. Very Frustrating!

I hope that there is a software fix soon!

There is an update scheduled to come out shortly. THis is supposed to fix the GPS issues.

The Sprint update started rolling out yesterday and we should have it in the next couple of days. It says it fixes GPS issues, as well as other enhancements...

Verizon doesn't have WiFi calling to my knowledge so they don't have the issue. Additionally it's been fixed via a recent update from Sprint.

Correct...the latest OTA from Sprint fixed the GPS issue

I had this problem , all what you have to do is to open the boot loader and root the devise , thats all, i just did it and the gps work perfect .
