HTC One (M8): Is there a WiFi Power Saver Mode?

Hello all. I'm wondering if there is a WiFi power saver mode on the M8? I ask because if there is I want to turn it OFF. With my Note 3 there was a power saver mode and to disable it you had to dial something like *#0011# and then go to the advanced setting in the wifi category and disable it. By doing that the phone would then connect to 802.11ac instead of just 802.11n and I saw no additional drain on the battery. I just want to make sure my M8 is taking advantage of the AC part of my home network...Or is there a way I can see if its connecting to 802.11ac on its own? You can't dial *#0011# on the M8, it just gives you an error message.

There is a WiFi optimization mode that you can turn off. It will limit battery usage while on WiFi when turned on

Settings-click on WiFi-there's a 3 dot dropdown menu in the top right corner and its in there
