HTC One (M8): Is your volume button loose?

Verizon Gunmetal here and the phone is perfect. Nothing loose or too tight at all.

mine is fine, only problem, and it's not even a bother, is my power button is completely flush

Gunmetal version for VZW

My volume button came clean off on Saturday, and 3 wouldn't replace it as there were some marks on the rear. I dropped it from my lap getting out of the car with its dot sense case on, and I have to say as an ex Iphone user I was amazed how easily it got damaged.

It looks as good as an IPhone cosmetically, but is comparatively not as we'll made. The dot sense case is quite good in operation, but even from 2 feet up offers no protection whatsoever.

I've sent the phone back today to HTC and I'll see his much they want to replace the volume key(which was already loose before it was dropped)

My gunmetal is slightly loose. It doesn't really bother me since it's always in a case.

Wait. So you had the special full-body case from htc and your phone was damaged? You should have included a picture and a note when you sent it back. No point fully enclosing the body with a case that doesn't even protect...

I asked at Sprint yesterday and they've referred at least fifty M8s to the repair center the manager said. Tho he claims there are not nearly as many RETURNS as they had with the S4 Mini. Seems people love the phone itself enough to put up with this, so I really hope things smooth out for you all soon. He also said something about trying to get permission to stock a different case for the M8, but I can't remember which. I'll try to get in there again on Monday, was going to examine the S5 front camera distortion claims.

3 weeks into my M8 with a Bodyglove Satin case and I've just noticed this. My volume rocker is loose but only by a little bit. The only thing that bothers me with it is that the lower end is seated lower than the top of the rocker

U WOT M8
