HTC ONE M8 - Network Data Issue

Hello,

I have recently bought a HTC ONE M8 whilst in the U.S. I have returned to the UK and unlocked it. I have placed a UK operator sim in (EE). I am able to make calls and text messages, however when away form WIFI I get the following error messages for data:

You are offline. Wi-Fi and mobile data are turned off (This isn't true, I've triple checked in settings)

Error code: ERR_INTERNET_DISCONNECTED

Wondering what to do? If I go back to WiFI all is fine. In settings mobile data is switched on. I have re-registered on network through the 'Mobile network settings' screen. For one month I was using another network (giff gaff) with no issue like this.

In Mobile Network Settings, under Network Mode do you have the option to switch to just GSM/LTE only? If that doesn't work, can you try going into Settings > Power > Fast Boot and unchecking Start Up and shut down quickly, switch off your phone, remove the sim, insert sim back in, then boot up the phone and see if that might help.

Not sure about your carrier but in the US we have to also have the correct APN settings.
