My first post was of a green heirloom tomato. A month later, it's ripe. This is what tomatoes looked like a hundred years ago before farmers started selectively breeding and engineering them to all look round, red, and have a thick skin. These are more fragile but also more sweet and tender. And the best part; no chemicals. The local store has them for $5lb but with some seeds, water, and TLC, I've managed to get them to grow here in the suburbs. I believe there's 2 or 3 different strains here.
