Hi, I'm having major issues with my much loved M8. About a week or so ago I started having repeated reboots every 30 seconds to a couple of minutes so presumed it was a battery failure. I've since replaced the battery with a genuine new battery but it's made no difference at all. I've tried every possible option in terms of clearing cache, safe mode, disabling apps and hard resets but the phone doesn't stay alive long enough to fully complete any of the tasks. Anyone else had a similar problem?

Thanks,
Mike

Is this the dreaded bootloop issue...? If so then it could signal hardware failure. I'm not an expert on this but sounds like it'll need a repair of some sort. You obviously have skils as you replaced the battery so replacing the motherboard would probably solve your issue...as I said that my guess...does anyone know of a non hardware fix for this issue?

Thanks for the replies. The phone won't complete a factory reset without powering down unfortunately. I could replace the motherboard but I'd hoped there would be an alternative solution, perhaps not.

Thanks
