HTC One (M8): Wanna leave Apple but...

I don't hate apple devices that much (I've owned an iPad and Mac) but when I see people switch from iPhone to android, it just makes me happy:)

Yeah, this is the fastest and slickest Android device I've seen/owned

The hardest part of switching from Apple to Android is the horrible system Apple has to disconnect your phone from their ecosystem. Samsung has done a really good job taking apple data over but unfortunately HTC has not

had iphone 5s htc one m8. gave htc back after 2 days, the htc led light notifications are not working. its an htc issue. went with s5 no problem. good luck

Yeah, I heard this was a common issue.

No issues for me on my M8. It's absolutely perfect. I came from the iPhone 5s and its the first time I've used an android device and not been tempted to go back to the 5s.
As for problems, all devices will have them. You could Google iPhone 5s issues and come back with a huge list. My 5s was perfect but I know many that weren't.

When you get a device close to the launch date, you will see more of these hardware and software issues. Over time, the few quality control issues and software bugs will be resolved.

Sent from my Samsung Galaxy Note 3... yeah, it's spectacular!

Exactly, this happens with Iphones as well. Just have to look closely. I count myself lucky, never had major issues with any of my phones but I've had friends with problems on ios and android devices. Wide range of issues.

Also take into consideration that forums are still the vocal minority. For every bad device there's many more that are functioning as intended.

I switched from a 5s to the m8 and have had zero problems except that Apple hijacked my mobile number. I have had it for two weeks and still can't get texts from anyone using an iPhone. I even turned off I message before I took my SIM out. So beware, Apple is ******* evil.

Android Central had an article about how to deal with this. Just search for it.
