Hello all. I recently purchased a HTC One M9 through Verizon. My last phone was the original HTC One through sprint. When I first got the M9 the Wi-Fi widget would automatically connect to my home network one I pressed the widget. A couple days later, after pressing the widget, instead of automatically connecting the widget takes me to the settings menu where I have to manually turn on Wi-Fi, then manually select the network I wish to connect to. Has anyone had this same issue and if so, any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

Welcome back! Are you talking about an actual widget that you placed on the homescreen, or the quick settings toggle when you swipe down from the top of the screen with two fingers?

Thanks for replying B. Diddy. I am speaking of the stock home screen Wi-Fi widget.

I don't have a direct answer, but I'd suggest an alternate solution--use Power Toggles, which can help you reclaim some of that homescreen space. You can put all of those toggles on one toggle bar, and you can also put a toggle bar in the notification panel (if you want to keep the homescreen as uncluttered as possible).
