Okay so I got an HTC One Remix in March. In about July the vibration stopped working. Last month I decided to tell Version Wireless and tell them about the problem, they did all the tests and concluded that it was a hardware issue, and they sent me a replacement. Well, one month later, the vibration has again stopped working on the new phone. What is happening, and will Verizon deem it my fault if I tell them that this one has broke as well?

The vibration motor is one of two moving parts in most phones (the other being the autofocus mechanism in the camera module), so it can be prone to failure. I'm not sure if it's something with the One Remix, or if you're just unlucky. You'd have to check with Verizon about their replacement policy. Let them know the same thing happened again, and sweet-talk them. Don't start off aggressively or defensively--that'll just turn them off and make them less inclined to help. Let them know you otherwise love the phone and love Verizon's service, and it'd be awesome if they could come through again for you.:)

Before this, though, try booting into Safe Mode and see if the vibration works there: https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-10853
