HTC one S is not showing up on Android device Manager

Hello,

I had HTC one S. Sometime back it got stolen. I tried ADM to try to locate but no success as it always say last seen on the day it got stolen. But suddenly one day, device was no longer coming in ADM. Can somebody tell what could have caused removal of device from ADM?

Welcome to Android Central! The thief my have done a full factory reset, which would probably erase it from the Device Manager. Or maybe they went to Settings>Security>Device Administrators and unchecked Android Device Manager. I'm just speculating here, because I haven't tried it myself.
