Hi.
My mom (hence me being stuck with solving the problem ) was using viber and it worked really well until about a week ago when the sound stopped working.
She can't hear anyone during incoming or outgoing calls and no one can hear her.
I tried uninstaling and instaling Viber but it doesn't work and I've upgraded it to version 3.0.0, but the problem still exists.
She has a Sony Xperia Tipo. Also the latest version of Viber works wonderfully on my Htc One X

i recently uninstall viber, and when i tried installing it again, i typed my fone no. & i didn't receive an access code, when i tried calling viber, they say the phone number i entered is not associated with any viber account. i have to download the latest version, (which i already downloaded after uninstalling viber). what will i do now? i want viber to be back on my fone asap... pls help me, thanks

Please note that Viber does not officially support Sony Xperia Tipo yet, and that may be the reason for the problems you are experiencing. Here is the full list of officially supported devices: Is your Android supported with Viber (system requirements)?
We are continuously working to adapt Viber to more and more devices, and we hope to make your device fully compatible soon. When we have news, we'll let you know.

Please try removing Viber, wait 24 hours, reinstall and try again (make sure you try both the SMS and the automated call options).

In addition, you may try to register to Viber with a different number (for example - your home landline number, a friend's number, etc.), in order to determine whether the problem is specific with your number, or a general one.

Pls if you can help me I have a problem after install the viber and put my contact NO. then never receive the message of access code .. I tried many times >> also could not make a call as mentioned because the site has been blocked in uae ... my mobile is Galaxy S3

The authorities in the UAE have decided to block Viber in the whole country, and that is why you are experiencing this issue. Unfortunately there is not much we can do to help

You may try contacting the authorities and ask for the reason for this block.

Unfortunately not - our code delivery mechanism is completely automated.
However, even if you had the code, the app itself (the service) is blocked in the UAE. This means you wouldn't be able to use Viber in the UAE anyway

Viber should not automatically delete messages at all. Are you sure this isn't a result of deleting Viber itself, or re-registering?

With this information, our development team will hopefully be able to find the source of the problem, and ultimately resolve it.

We recommend to use our ?Export message history? function every once in a while, in order to make sure that those messages are backed up.

Im having messaging issues with viber. was working fine up until 2 weeks ago. messages are being sent by both parties but taking minutes to hours to days to be delivered. and some days it is working just fine . Ive uninstalled and reinstalled several times. on version 3.0.1 now. its starting to get annoying. any suggestions...

I have S3, latest Jelly Bean OS. Viber upgraded itself to a new cool look and feel but since then, it keeps telling me that Viber Stopped working and restarts itself.

Hi Viber, Want to ask how to activate my viber. Yesterday i accidentally pres the deactivate coz im macking around my setting and i try to uninstall it and install again then viber did not accept my number say in valid phone number pls help
