I have a Samsung Note (GT-N7000) and messaging is working fine its just the calls

I'll check with my Wi-Fi provider re the ports - UPDATE - can get to the ports area but cannot work out how to change them and Tesco Broadband are as much use as a chocolate fireguard

I'm in the UK and connected GSM wise through O2

Unfortunately we (Viber) cannot assist with this :(
As a temporary test, while you're waiting for assistance from your ISP, we suggest that you test a few different WiFi networks and see if the problem occurs on all of them. This will help narrowing down the possible sources of the problem.
 
i accedentlly press default to my viber account on my cell now i can't make calls. How do i get it off default please? Thank you so much

becuase i can only call the people with viber with is 1 person only and nothing else

i have a problem with using viber on my samsung galaxy 3, anytime i download the viber app a message continues to pop up saying "viber service is currently unavailable or being blocked please try again later" please what can i do?

This option (setting a default dialer) is a feature of Android itself, and not of Viber's. However, you may search for tutorials online for resetting your default dialer, such as this thread: http://forums.androidcentral.com/verizon-htc-thunderbolt/139889-reset-phone-dialer.html

It could be that the network you are connected to is blocking Viber's traffic.

1. First, please try uninstalling and reinstalling Viber when connecting to a few different WiFi networks (in order to pinpoint the source of the problem). What are the results?
2. Also, please make sure the following ports are enabled ("forwarded") on your routers or firewalls:
TCP: 5242 + 4244
UDP: 5243 + 9785

(if you are not sure how to enable ports, you may contact your router manufacturer or your Internet Service Provider)

Hello there!

A friend of mine has recently purchased a new Samsung Galaxy Star, It has Android v4.1.2 (Jelly bean). Now when he tries to download viber from google play store, it says "This device is not supported for this version". He has purchased that phone only for viber & now he's having this issue. Please find a solution for this. I'll be waiting.

My wife's Sony Xperia U is running the latest version of Viber & is crashing when running videos in messages.

I am also having problem with viber recently (i think after the last update) ,
caller cant hear me but i can hear them.
I am on Samsung Galaxy GT-S6312 .And No i am not using a custom ROM.
Android 4.1.2 (default android that comes with the new phone)

I am using Wifi and not a cellular network.I am from India.

I have tested with my galaxy ace and its working excellent on that Wifi,so its not Wifi problem.
Also i bought the phone(Samsung Galaxy GT-S6312) last month only so it cant be its sound IC i suppose.

Hi,
I also have a problem with the 3.0 version of viber, and with several newest versions od my LG L7 2, P710.
The problem i that i can hear everybody. but nobody can hear me, there is no audio output what so ever from my side.
I'm using android 4.1.2, software version p71010a-294-03, the phone is not rooted, and i'm not using custom roms
Now i'm using Viber 2.2.3, and the aplication is working normaly, exept of ocassional crashes
Is there a solution, or i can only wait for the newer version and possible sollution of the problem.

Are you using a Custom ROM on your device?

i also have this problem on Galaxy S2, and everyday i must enter my number, and all my text chat in viber was deleted
my IMEI number is : [removed by moderator]
i use rooted Stock ROM (I9100XWLSW)

Please tell your friend that we haven?t completed fully testing Viber on that specific device, yet he can try downloading Viber from the following link: Can't download from Android market...

Please help i have very unusual problem with viber on my HTC one s after I downloaded and installed it aviber shortcut was created n my omescreen seconds later it said that another shortcut had beeen created there were two icons for viber on my homescreen one was the correct working one while when I clicked on the other one nothing happened whe. I try to try to delete this other con by holding and pressing the widgets screens shows
please help

This is a known issue (nothing to be concerned about). We are working to fix it, and we hope to include a solution in future versions - stay tuned for news and updates.

I have an iPad 2 and a LG Optimus L9 LP769 Android phone. If I install Viber on the iPad and then the Android phone, Viber asked me to reregister on the ipad and vice versa. I was getting two different activation codes, and now a third since uninstalling Viber on both the iPad and the LG Optimus L9 phone. How can I sync both so this does not happen. I went back and forth trying to enter the 4-digit pin between the two devices. Please help. My wife is actually the owner of the two devices. :(

At this stage, one Viber number can be assigned with only one device simultaneously (except for Viber Desktop). When you try registering to Viber with the same number on a second device, the first device immediately deactivates, and its data (message history, Recents, etc.) is deleted.

What you can do, however, is register your second device with a different number: your home number, an old cellphone number, family's or friends.
In future versions we are considering to add an option to register the same Viber number on multiple devices. Once we have news on that, we'll let you know :)

Hi,
Please make sure that this is not a network-related issue.
Try rebooting your phone, and connect to a few different networks. Does this problem happen on all of them?

I?ve just recently got the HTC one. I had viber on my iphone and found it a useful app.
I?ve downloaded it again. I am having a lot of trouble with it. it keeps syncing with my gallery. I do not want it to do this!
It syncs with the live feed - I do not want this either! why can't this app be simple and separate for other apps.

the iphone version is much more straightforward and not of this utter rubbish that goes with it.

I thought I would uninstall it and reinstall it again and start again. Now I can't even add it!
I'm very disappointed with viber.
