i am unable to get incoming call notification on my mobile while i can get it on my desktop
i am using android 4.2.2 on htc desire hd with custom rom of jelly time

Hi!

The scenario you describing might happen due to two situations:

1. Once you answer to a call through Viber desktop, Your phone won't show any notification.
2. If that's not the case, It might happen due to connection issues. For more info' please check: Android: Viber Connection Issues

I'm a cherry mobile w500 user and viber works on my mobile just fine but what's annoying is the "unfortunately viber has stopped" message keeps on popping up! when i go to viber it likes refreshes itself and goes back to normal.

Hi! The past couple of weeks viber keeps crashing all the time! A message pops up and the only option it gives me is to force quit. After that, if I try to open the app the whole phone stalls and I need to force quit again! I uninstall and install it again and it works for a while but then it keep having the same problem! I could really use some help!

Hi, I am using a Samsung S3 and I accidentally uninstalled viber while trying to delete another app. When I installed it again all my previous messages were deleted. Is there any way that I can restore all the messages? This question might have been asked a lot, sorry for asking this one again. Thanks in advance.

@Joel Cruz1- Please note that we haven?t fully tested your device yet, and therefore we cannot guarantee full functionality of Viber on it. That may be the reason for the problems you are experiencing. Here is the full list of officially compatible devices: Knowledgebase

@mariavicentapau- We don't mind answering it again :) Unfortunately, it will not be possible to retrieve those lost messages, since we (Viber) do not keep our users' message history on our servers - we care about our users' privacy.
We recommend to use our ?Export message history? function every once in a while, in order to make sure that those messages are backed up.

Hi Viber Support!

I have problem with Viber on my new smartphone Huawei P6. Viber works only when connected to WiFi. It losses connection when connected to network. I am based in Poland and use Orange netwrok. Could you please advise what kind of setting should I change in order to get connection while using 3G?

hi i am using samsung galaxy young pro and having the same problem.i already uninstall and install my viber but everytime i install it, they ask for a code and no code had been sent to my phone.pls. help me..thank you

I'm having the same problem with my HTC One XL. Every time I want to use Viber, it asks for my mobile number, then I have to enter a code. It is a standard phone which hasn't been rooted. I have android version software 4.2.2.

My Problem is similar. I am able to call but then I am not able to hear the person, nor can they hear me. When they call other people it works fine, but it doesn't work when calling me. I thought it was my phone but my text go through just fine. Just the calling , PLEASE HELP!

Hi we are having problem with viber.

Just awhile ago, i received a miss call from the number of my hubby at Bangladesh at 3:48am via viber. He also called me at 3:48 am via regular call. What was weird was. He doesnt have viber installed on his Samsung Grand Duos. He never used viber before.

We checked the viber account, it has the same number as my husband's but after less than an hour it says that the number is not currently a viber user. How can this be? We checked the phone of my husband and there is no viber installed. we checked the google play store and we still need to download the viber application. BTW, I am using an iphone 5. i have screenshots for this.

Please help us. My husband is afraid that this maybe a breach of security.

My problem with viber today is cannot hear incoming calls and unable to hear the person voice. They are ringing from the wifi and i am using 3 G data. All other functions working as in texting etc., recently was in spain and used viber with no problems!

My Viber is now running ok except for the fact i cant see my contacts as earlier on I had 4 contacts and now there are no contacts but my contacts can see me as my dad was able to call me

Hi. when i try to open viber on my htc wildfire s, it comes up saying sorry! the application Viber (processcom.viber.voip) has stopped unexpectedly. please try again.
i have uninstalled it waited a couple of days and installed it again but it will not work. what do i do? :-\

Hi I am using galaxy s4 and my viber has a problem it says that it isnot currently available or it is blocked my viber cant be opened

The call from your husband to you was routed through Viber by your cell provider, using a Viber service offered to providers worldwide.
In our next big version (4.0), this feature will be optional, and you'll be able to disable it.

At any rate - this is nothing to be worried about, as it is not a security risk :)

Which device do you have? Which version of Android?
Does it work well when you are connected to WiFi?

It could be that the network you are connected to is blocking Viber's traffic.

1. First, please try uninstalling and reinstalling Viber when connecting to a few different WiFi networks (in order to pinpoint the source of the problem). What are the results?
2. Also, please make sure the following ports are enabled ("forwarded") on your routers or firewalls:
TCP: 5242 + 4244
UDP: 5243 + 9785

(if you are not sure how to enable ports, you may contact your router manufacturer or your Internet Service Provider)

* If it still fails, please specify what country you're located in, and which cellular network you're subscribed to.

Hi I have today received my replacement phone, VIBER will now not complete its set up, I have inputted my number but it wont send a code through sms? Can you help please :) xxx

Which phone do you have now?

Please try removing Viber, wait 24 hours, reinstall and try again (make sure you try both the SMS and the automated call options). You may also try to register to Viber through a few different WiFi networks.

In addition, you may try to register to Viber with a different number (for example - your home landline number, a friend's number, etc.), in order to determine whether the problem is specific with your number, or a general one.
