HTC One: Speaker Crackling Noise

So, a few days ago my One's top speaker started doing an unbearable crackling noise anytime the speaker was active. Restart, turn Beats off, turn volume down... no fix. I talked to Verizon and they are sending a replacement. Anyone with the same issue?

I had the same issue. Sent the phone to Verizon and got a refurb that seems to have wifi problems, but the sound is great! (for now)

Mine did the same on Sprint. First a crackle then no sound at all.

So far my replacement has been great (knock on wood)
