guys some update, it seems that im finally able to enter fastboot using windows 7! thanks to Imnutsnj for the advice!

I thought you were on windows 7. If i had know you were on 8 i could of told you long ago thats the problem....lol But yeah that is exactly whats wrong, as soon as you use windows 7 you will be golden

Yes and thats why you ever give up. Remember if you can get into the bootloader its not bricked and is fixable 99% of the time.
I guess i assume when you said in a earlier post that you were using usb 2.0 ports that you were on 7....lol. Glad you got the phone working anyhow

Restore your backup assuming you made one, If not get a rom compatible with your phone and carrier. You cant flash just any rom, If your phone isnt compatible with it, it causes issues. What carrier are you on?
