Hi all - first post here!
I have just gotten an HTC One to replace my 2-year old HTC Sensation.

Everything is fine so far and I am getting used to the new phone - however, there is no calendar notification pop-ups as I used to have on the Sensation. I do get an alert/vibration and I do see the home screen notification once I power the phone up on the locked screen, which means the calendar clearly works and... well... notifies me. But I lost that option when the calendar was actually showing the large on-screen visual notification by waking the phone up. What gives?

I know about the "productivity" screen - but I don't want to see my missed texts, calls, etc - all I want is to get back that large nice calendar pop-up. It is a stock calendar. I am not using the Google calendar. I am in the multi-calendar mode, but I have only Facebook and my Exchange ActiveSync business calendars checked on the list.

Thanks in advance!

You can uncheck the calls and sms and only get your calendar on the productivity screen if you'd like. That's what I did. It gives you 2 days worth of reminders by swiping to the left.

Thanks for you quick response! I wonder, however, if the productivity screen notifications wake the phone up to show the pop-ups, or do they just show when I power it up by depressing the lock button? My main reason is to get the phone to wake and show the calendar event, in addition to sound/vibration. As of now, I do get calendar notifications on the locked/unlocked screen, but only after I wake the phone up myself.

i didnt know there was a way of making the screen turn on upon receiving notifications... calendar or not...

Thanks! That's what I am trying to find out. And I am looking into this only because, as I said in my original post, my HTC Sensation had this option by default. I didn't even have to change settings: from the get-go, with the stock calendar, as soon as there was a calendar alert, the screen would turn on and a nice visual calendar notification would pop up - time, topic, venue, etc. I find it very convenient and also important if one has a lot of meetings daily. Now, I have to pick the phone up, turn it on, look at the small notification on the screen and open it if I want to see full information. Instead of just looking at the phone without touching it, as it was before. I know it is "the first world problems" but why would they change something like this? Oh, well.
