HTC One Tv remote question

I am contemplating getting the HTC One, and the ability to use the infrared (IR) feature as a remote for all my gadgets is quite appealing (especially since the LED screen on my Logitech Harmony One remote cracked about a year ago).

Does the phone's TV app have the ability to program macros into it (example: press one button that first turns on the tv, the surround sound, and the satellite dish box)?

Which harmony model you have? I have the 650

How cool some of you guys also have a harmony remote. I have the model 650.

I have the Harmony One and other than the cracked screen when it fell off the couch, its ok. Customer service was horrible. Rather use my cell phone to change the channel if possible.

Bout time to get rid of my evo 3d.

Wow you have the one. They say that one is the best of all harmony lines but the most expensive. That one is the one with a charging dock right.

My TV remote doesnt have an input "toggle". My input button just brings up the various input choices. I then have to arrow up or down to the input I want to select. I havent come up with a solution yet.

Anyone program their Playstation 3 to turn on or off using their HTC One?

Playstation uses Bluetooth, not IR.
