HTC One video problems

I've had the HTC one for a month and from day one I've had issues playing any kind of video (Google play, youtube, etc) the video will buffer for a minute then give me an error message. I have Verizon 4G LTE. At first I thought it was a defective phone so I swapped it for another HTC one. No change, so I swapped it again...still no help. It does it on Wi-Fi and 4G. Anyone else have this issue or have any tips that can help?

Have you tried doing a factory reset? I would try that first. How is your signal? High, low? Sounds to me though it's a signal problem as you said it buffers first.

Yeah I've done factory resets gotten new phones. Like I said it's my third one in a month. My signal is actually really good. Guys at Verizon said they've never seen the phone do it before

It has to be other than the phone. Getting 2? 3? that do the same thing is a long shot. Just to note, just because your phone says you have signal, doesn't mean your data signal is good. Have you tried calling your carrier and have them reset your phone? It's also known as re-provisioning. It resets the signal from your phone to the tower. It takes only a minute and I would give it a try. Also you might have an app that's somehow interfering with video. Doubt it but it could be.
