htc one white dot on screen

It's an HTC one, that came out a little before the htc one M8 and every time I click on something a white dot appears on my screen, I dont have developer settings so is there anything I can do?

Install a screen testing app. If it's a stuck pixel, they might exchange it. (They might not, even if it were brand new, for a single pixel.)

Well it's when I tap the screen, and its not a pixel but everyone's using the developer settings to get it off but I don't have these certain settings and I got it on my phone but I can't get it odf

Go to Settings>About>Software Information>More and tap the build number multiple times until you get a toast stating you have developer options enabled. Then, go to developer options and scroll down until you reach input and disable Show Touches
