HTC One - Wifi problem connecting?

Hi my htc m9 doesn't seem to work when I connect to a WiFi when I use my mobile data is not a problem when using the wifi Google says offline??

I am having this issue on my home WIFI on my ATC One A9. At work I have zero issues connecting and staying connected. At home, when I first connect, works fine. As soon as I let the phone sleep or after about 30 min the phone stops connecting to the wifi even though it shows full bars. if I disable the wifi and turn it back on, I can connect again for about 30 min. My wife's Iphone 6plus and my laptop have no issues connecting and staying connected.

I have tried renaming it, no good. I have tried forgetting and relearning the connection, nothing. I have recently tried changing my security protocol to TKIP to see if this will work.

If I reset the router, same as above, it'll connect for a max of 30 min.

Only my HTC phone has this issue and I don't know why. I'm about to throw the damn thing away because it's chewing up my minutes at home and I can't afford that.

If anyone comes up with a good fix, please let me know.

Hi, I have an HTC phone that has stopped connecting to wifi. It's not just my home wifi, it's any wifi anywhere so i've eliminated my modem/router as the problem. I've tried restarting and updating the phone numerous times. Is there something else on the phone that I may be overlooking that is causing the problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

My HTC one is connected to wifi but I cant browsing, chatting, use my online apps. I use wifi with my laptop, and it's work very well. what's wrong with my HTC?

To all those who renaming the device did not fix the problem, here is the solution that worked for me.. i hope it works for all of you.
Go to the router settings using your laptop for example, then go to the wireless security setting and change it from WPA - Personal to WPA2 -Personal... that fixed it in a second for me and I'm wifi connected.. It took me a week to figure it out and I tried everything in this thread. I just registered to share this solution.. go ahead try and best of luck..
