I have the EVO 4G LTE. In one of the 'hidden' menus brought to the surface by the "QuickShortcutMaker" app I found a location setting. Just search for "location" and select the 3rd result found. It makes a reference to Verizon Wireless service in a Sprint Phone

Wouldn't bet on it. More likely it's just code being reused. We've seen that happen before.

Yeah, that's nothing. You can see that on CyanogenMod builds.
