I'm pretty new to rooting and flashing custom rooms, but despite that I managed to root my HOX and flash Cyanogenmod 10.1 on the first try with out any problems.
I'm very pleased with the result, I love the mod but the only thing that irritates me is that my HTC is drained faster than it should be. When I use my HOX for checking websites, listening to Spotify and working through some mail, I burn through 25% in 1 hour and 15 minutes. That's not the battery life that I want to see here. I installed betterbatterylife and my phone gets in deep sleep so that's not where the problem lays. After fully charging I put the device to sleep on my nightstand (wifi enabled, GPS enabled, cellular enabled) and it burned through 20% in 9 hours, not a really bad score, but it could have done better. I'm planning on doing the same but this time with flight mode enabled to see what results I get from that.
What I want to know from you, is it normal that the HOX burns through 25% battery after some light working on it for 1 hour and 15 minutes? Should I give Cyanogenmod 10.1 more time to adapt to my system? (I flashed last friday)
I really hope that some of you have an answer for this problem.
