HTC One X Jellybean Bug List

I cannot turn off usb debugging. And it always launches HTC sync ok my pc which doesn't seem to do anything.

My usb connection is spotty it connects then disconnects and reconnects endlessly... Which makes the HTC sync worse.

After I uninstalled it it always tried to reinstall it. I finally turned off autoplay. and turned off the usb sound. I mostly just plug it into power not the pc now since it is so annoying. Will probably go to viper after all . .

streetgravy - My first thought was to check the power saver so I did try it without power saver on and got the same response. I'll check the data connection option as well, my next step is to try a factory reset and hope that fixes it.

Try using a default alarm sound, and not a mp3 file, or other custom sound. I have heard of people complaining about alarm issues when selecting mp3 files.

I'm having the same issue with USB debugging every time I plug in the USB cable. It no longer give the screen asking what you want to do on plugging in (ie. charge only, mount internal flash drive, run HTC sync, etc). Anyone else know how to fix this?

USB debugging will always be on, this is not a problem. Also, you will alway s be able to access files on your phone and charge at the same time, no need for a pop up anymore. If you cannot see your phone under My Computer under media devices, go to device manager, right click the USB the phone is connected to and update drivers. Now you should be able to browse files

After the update I installed HTC Sync...then uninstalled the app leaving only the drivers...I like the way this now browses the phone much better than before the update...it's easy and clean.

I've actually have an issue with an app that requires USB debugging to be off. This is the TWC TV app and it forces me to turn off USB debugging when I go to watch live TV with it. I'm guessing it has to do with some sort of licensing issue and they don't want me to stream to a computer, save it and possible redistribute it...

So when you are plugged into the pc, you can't pull the notification drawer down and hit the "turn debug off" ?

You toggle it off but the icon remains. If you check back a minute later in settings it is back on.

Hmm... I don't have that problem, but I believe the dev fixed it at some point (I'm running viper XL) possibly

My bugs are as follows...no more notification if I get an MMS, SwiftKey disables everytime I shut the phone off, will no longer save photos from certain apps. I tried doing a hard reset but the issues still remained once I got it up and running again :-\

Since I've done a hard reset after the update I haven't had really any problems. My battery life is significantly better and my WiFi isn't quite as buggy. The only thing I seem to find is Sense tends to crash, A LOT, especially if I'm using a power hungry app. Like flipboard for example. It reminds me of when the phone first came out before the first update. Anyone else have this problem?

What's the deal? Before updating, I had a great stock stock market widget that was a list view with a chart on my home page! Did HTC not update this widget for JB? It was the most useful and helpful stocks widget I've seen so far with a simple press-and-hold for Yahoo Finance news on any one stock. Now, I'm stuck with either a list or a chart view, but not both, with widgets available in the Play Market. Did HTC not include a stock Stocks widget for some reason?

I updated my HTC one x a few weks ago and my Twitter notifications is using a different ringtone than the one I had. When I go to the app notification settings it shows that I'm using the ringtone that I want, but when I get a notification OT uses a different one. Anyone know what to do?

Hello there,

I have recently upgraded my HTC one X Vodafone UK to Jelly Bean and I have found that the move to phone memory/Internal memory button in the app details has been removed!!! That means I can't move apps between memories anymore, furthermore the app I have previously moved to SD (which is the phone memory on HTC one X) are still on SD but cannot be moved back to internal memory due the lack of button. I have tried many apps but all of them point me to the same app detail screen where the button has been removed. Anyone has got the same issue please?

Crazy, annoying as hell lag where there was no lag previously. My Messages take upwards of 30 seconds to open the app itself, about 20 seconds to process a message I have sent (which, if I cancel out of, just saves as a draft), and quite often lags so much it forgets who it is sending it to. The phone overall is incredibly slower than it was prior to this update.

I heard a factory reset works when you get a big update. I don't know if this may work for you but it is just an idea.
