Is HTC One XL the same as AT&T's HTC One X? I read that XL stands for XLTE and AT&T's is LTE so assuming it's the same phone. Can someone confirm if it's the same? I'm asking, because i saw posts stating that HTC is planning to release Jelly Bean for HTC One XL. Thank you.

Yes, AT&T confused the issue by insisting that the One XL be known as simply the ONE X in its inventory.

They were (stupidly) worried that people would catch on to the fact that it only had a Dual Core processor in the XL and would shun the device.

If they had just called it the One XL like it is everywhere else in the world it would be much less confusing.

Internationally the One X is a quad core HPSA/UMTS/3G device, without LTE.

Assuming that it is safe to say that the article below is also referring to us AT&T HTC One X users correct?

That news is from Australia, but one assumes that a similar version would be released in the US.

However, anytime AT&T is involved you can add two months (minimum) to any release date elsewhere in the world.

DOH! :/

Thanks for clarifying that ...

Yeah they need to get their act together.
