HTC People Widget "Forgets" Settings - HELP!!!

The built in People widget from HTC does not remember the "widget action" settings for certain contacts... For example when you run the widget and add contacts to it you have the option to select what happens when you select the person.. You can select call, message, view contact etc etc... Well the widget never seems to remember the settings I set for each person.. It's like it disappears and I have to re-do it all the time... I've looked for other contact apps but nothing looks cleaner than the HTC one in my opinion...

Does anyone else have this problem?!?!?! It's really annoying having to re-do all these "widget actions" all the time.... How about a fix?! Gingerbread hasn't been installed on my phone yet... Maybe that will fix this glitch?!

I would try upgrading to gingerbread. Unless you want to root.

I've had the same problem since the Droid Eris on 1.5. I figured that a new phone and 2.2, HTC would have fixed the problem, but no. I haven't tried the widget again since the GB update, but do not expect it to be fixed.
