Anyone bought it yet and does it come with a special USB cable?
It is my understanding that usb 2.0 cables only provide a maximum current of 1.5 amp amp (charging only, no data transmission - see here USB - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia) , but the Quick-charge 2.0 tech pulls up to 3 amps so I don't understand how it's possible to provide such current with a normal usb cable.

Cheers

I dunno. My Note 3, with USB 3.0, charging from a 2 Amp charger, only draws 1.2 Amps. (It draws the same thing from the same charger with a 2l0 cable or a 3.0 cable.) But a 2.0 port can supply only 100mA, while a 3.0 port can supply 900mA.

So it sounds as if someone took parts of different stories, pasted them together and handed them to Marketing.
