HTC Rep: Thunderbolt Android 2.3 Update Pulled Back, No Estimated

Re: HTC Rep: Thunderbolt Android 2.3 Update Pulled Back, No Estim

My 'bolt works fine and it is stock. Not really caring about GB at this point.

i'd really like gb but not if it's buggy. but unless there is some reason those bugs can't get fixed, i expect them fixed within a reasonable time and the update pushed, or made optional if the bugs still persist.

If we ever do see an Android OS update, it will most likely be the last. The Cell phone technology is moving so fast, it's not worth their time and money to spend any more time on this. For every customer that gets upset and goes to another brand, they gain someone from the opposite brand.... It causes very little impact to their over all revenue.

It gets to a point where it's not cost effective to continue to support legacy products (know matter how new they are) and are usually willing to risk the loss of a few customers, in today's market they will gain probably more than they lose for the next new cool device.

I would think it would be the opposite due to the fact would want to move to a manufacturer that is known for no longer supporting their devices, I would not, and thats a main reason I did not get a droid charge is because I read many times that sammy was horrible about updating their hardware...

i think i'm going to go complain that i don't have gingerbread over on precentral.

They should take care of us. They sold more Thunderbolt than many other phones in their line. Just check the reviews at verizon web site, there are thousands compared to others

I am satisfied that the fix finally fixed my rebooting issue, but that is about to wear off, and my antsyness for GB will kick in soon.

I did this and works AWESOME.

Sorry, this is prob a stupid q, but where do I find CM7 for the Thunderbolt? When I last went to CM7's website, it wasn't listed as a supported phone...?

Thanks!
