HTC Sense error

Today I saw a post deleted wouldn't go away so I logged out then in. As soon as I tried syncing this error came, and I got rid of it maybe temporarily,
authorize htc sense to access your facebook.
Now I followed one solution in disabling the FB for HTC Sense but is there another solution or is FB doomed to not sync with HTC?

You need to:
1/. Logout of Facebook on our HTC
2/. Login into Facebook on a desktop/laptop computer then go to Settings->Privacy->Apps and authorise Third Party Apps (like Facebook for HTC) to access your Facebook
3/. Logout facebook on your desktop/laptop
4/. Log back into Facebook on HTC
