HTC splash screen?

Since I upgraded to froyo yesterday, things have been going fine for me, with one exception. Randomly - I can't seem to identify a pattern - when I go from an app to the home screen (running stock sense for now) I get the white htc splash screen for a second or two, then a little lag, then back to home. Has anyone else experienced this?

Had it happen once for me. It think something with Sense crashed as was being restarted.
