Hi,

I recently just bought a HTC One. HTC Sync Manager synced all my stuff and transferred it from my Iphone initially. Now when i plug my phone in it automatically opens up the program as it should and it detects my device. But then it pops up with a msg saying it "cannot access the storage of your device" and no matter how many times i reconnect it or use a different usb port or update the program it doesnt work. See screenshot -

Can anyone provide a solution?

Many thanks!

go to "settings" > "more" > "mobile network sharing" > "USB network setting" > select "none"

make sure in "developer options" that >> "USB debugging" and "allow mock locations" are ticked on.

This worked for my HTC One to sync with Macbook Air using HTC Sync Manager. :)

I'm glad that worked out for you...I was going to suggest drag-n-drop. I'm not a technophobe by any stretch of the imagination but I cringe every time I'm faced with HTC Sync. I despise that stupid little (146MB actually) program.

I agree. While it seems to work (sorta), I find Sync Manager to be an extremely clumsy application to move data between devices. Much prefer the drag-and-drop method.

I am haveing this problem aswell some time it works and somethimes it dosnt. tried all the ideas above and still nothing.

I am using HTC desire 828.

In settings>more>mobile network sharing>USB network setting>"none" option is not there when I m connecting with mac
