So i watched the phandroid hands on video and the thunderbolt does have "htc sense 2.0." i assume it'll come out on the htc evo eventually which is what i have but has anybody been able to find that file in the dump?
When you say "has anybody found that file", do you mean Sense 2.0? If so, there is no such thing.
Here's the deal: Sense 2.0 will never be officially released to the EVO. It has only been released to 3 phones so far, and 2 of those phones are in Europe only. Sense 2.0 isn't just some apk file that you can install; it is fully integrated into the entire OS as thousands of different files and resources. Not even the best hackers over at XDA have been able to fully extract Sense from one phone to give it to another. If your phone doesn't come out of the box with Sense 2.0, it will never natively support it. Only the newer phones will start shipping with it, and HTC never updates Sense for older phones.
If you are rooted and are not against the idea of flashing a custom ROM, then head over to XDA to find a semi-working EVO port of the Desire HD's ROM. Sense 2.0 doesn't work 100% on that EVO ROM, but it's the closest thing you're gonna get.
Sorry champ
