Since new up date dropping 3/4 G service intermittently , was better off before the update
 
Hmmm...I think you're right. I live in the middle of a 4G area and have noticed a little bit of that :confused:
 
Agreed. My radio has completely shut off a few times, once during a call, and the only way to turn it back on half the time is restarting the phone. It's ridiculous.

I had zero problems with the phone, besides the random text mix up thing, up until now. The last update was flawless for me.
 
There's a few things you can try. A simple restart, if that doesn't help then try pulling out the battery and SIM card for about 5 minutes. That resets your phone on Verizon's network. If you're still having issues I would try a factory reset. Sometimes during an update a file or two can get corrupted, a factory reset should fix that.
 
I had similar issues after the latest update. A 10-minute battery/SIM pull fixed them. It is part of my post-upgrade ritual now.
