HTC Transfer tool

When I used the HTC Transfer tool to send everything from my M7 to my M9, I received just about everything but my text messages. Is there a work around or anything I can do to get my texts into my M9?

Back up your phone and restore onto new phone? I did this with my first "faulty" HTC one m9 and I got all my texts come threw.

Both phones are backed up. What do I restore from?

Also save yourself grief by linking to Google Play store and updating that. Also, do a full sync of Google off everything on the old phone.

Back up using a new email account onto the old M7 then restore to the M9 to save confusion!
