HTC U11 or OnePlus 5?

The UTC 11 is definitely forward with the latest Flagship specs but i feel with the software performance OP5 is ahead with few considerable points. If u want the latest tech I would suggest u HTC path , but u don't care and just want performance with adjustment of minor issues OP5 is a considerable choice.

I have both and there is no way U11 performance is a downgrade compared to OP5. Both have great performance and I wouldn't factor that if you are choosing between the two. There a other factors like the display and camera where U11 simply excels.

I review phones for my YouTube channel (ChaksCorner). S8 is my daily driver while U11 is my secondary. I tend to switch to other phones for reviews and comparisons.

OnePlus 5 the beauty forever. I seriously prefer the dual rear camera over the single rear camera.

If you are looking for something powerful then the Oneplus 5 is the way to go. But the HTC U11 brings a lot to the table.

Surely 1+5

OnePlus 5 is cheaper and is not bad.In any case,talking about India,the HTC U11 costs Rs.19000($296) more.So you get the latest and cheaper phone.Many excellent features are in the oneplus 5.On the other hand,The htc phone feels premium.

For me the U11 doesn't do enough to justify the extra price over the OP5. Nice phone but not for me.

Honestly, they seem very close in comparison. If it is price wise, I'd go OnePlus5. If someone gave me an unlimited budget, then I'd go for the U-Boat HTC U11 for the extra features.

Really? I never thought of that! Mostly because apparently HTC doesn't have a good track record on the camera department? I've been trying to decide between a few phones (switching from an iPhone 6) and HTC and OnePlus are on my list... Right now I'm leaning towards OnePlus... That is until I read your camera comment... would you mind elaborating on that?

That's tricky. I love both companies. I loved my OP3, but I went with the U11. It's fast and the camera is amazing. The first time I exposed my U11 to water, bad stuff happened though, so be warned. 10 seconds of washing with a wet wash cloth and water seeped its way inside. I'm working with HTC on a resolution. I think the rear of the phone on my unit wasn't properly sealed.
