How are you liking the phone? Does it feel big in the hand? What's the performance and battery life been?PS: the thin sides around are black but the edges of back panel are still blue, just not translucent. Take it out on a sunny day and it looks gorgeous, with its all-blue back.
Does anyone have any idea when the carriers (Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobil and Sprint) will start selling the phone? The HTC unlocked versions are missing a Sprint version.
I have been looking for carrier release information for the HTC U12+ through a lot of different sources. Where did you get such definitive information?
With all of the market penetration problems HTC has been having with its phones; why would they not want the marketing power that the major carriers would offer them through their respective marketing power?
It’s been said that this might be their last HTC phone unless this one performs well in the market place. Without the major sales channels, would this not be their death knell?

It's not that HTC doesn't want to sell on carriers, it's more the crappy carriers deciding what's good for customers and decided not to carry the device. They don't want inventory, store shelf space, support for devices that don't sell well. Apparently, most consumers don't care if their choice is limited to Apple and Samsung, they also don't mind carriers ruining OEM firmware, loading up crap etc.I have been looking for carrier release information for the HTC U12+ through a lot of different sources. Just thought I'd start a thread for when the U12+ starts shipping. It's still all up in the air right now on when it's gonna start. I've emailed HTC for a more specific date, but haven't heard back. With the Amazon preorder going from June 7th to the 21st, and the more mainstream accessory makers not shipping until the 25th (Skinomi full body) or even in July (Spigen), I'm guessing later June. As of today, June 2, my HTC financing still says pending. It's starting to look like an LG release honestly.
Still June 21 on Amazon. Too long to be honest, but I'm digging this phone. The pre-order page now says shipping in July 2018
You didn't do the patience in the coffee thing we talked about?I called HTC yesterday. The rep couldn’t give me a date, but just said soon. He did say June was correct, but nothing beyond that.

Yeah I understand. I felt the same way about the LG V20 and V30.Haha!!!! Nah, I’m plenty patient. I was just more curious if there was an actual date yet. I don’t mind waiting. It’s not knowing anything that bugs me.
